Now that's some trippy shit! I wasn't sure if it was stop-motion or live-action for minute there, and I love how fake everything is, especially the trees and houses. It's inspiring.

I know - that's exactly what I love about it.

I saw this once on TV as part of a weird show hosted by Richard O'Brien (called Mystery Train) back in '91. I never knew what it was called. Never thought I'd see it again, but yet again the goodness of youtube prevails.

Mystery Train was once of the things that introduced me to the kind of stuff that this site is about. Also Jonathan Ross' 'Incredibly Strange Film Show' which showcased John Waters, Ed Wood, El Santo movies, Russ Meyer, etc.

Finally got around to watching this. Definitely some interesting techniques there, with the combination of stop motion and live action. Never seen anything quite like that.

Wonderful oddity, not suprsied freaky deaky Ricky O'B selected it for his weird showcase vehicle Mystery Train. Impressive combo of stop motion n live stuff, some distinct relegious undertones too, pennance n cummupance eh!
