This topic happened to come up for me several times, over the last week or so. Actually, of course, it really comes up dozens if not hundreds of times every single day, if you are paying attention in real life.

Anyway, what is your favorite evil (fictional) corporation? Or law firm, it could be a law firm like Wolfram & Hart, from the Angel TV show. I'll make a little list to get started, starting with that.

Wolfram & Hart, from Angel
The RAMJAC Corporation, from Jailbird, by Kurt Vonnegut
Bromley Marks, from Daybreakers
The Umbrella Corporation, from Resident Evil
The Tyrell Corporation, from Blade Runner
The Wallace Corporation, from Blade Runner 2049
ZomCom, from Fido

You get the idea. What is one of your favorites? Please add new ones to my list. I guess I will pick the RAMJAC Corporation, for myself. I always liked that idea of a dotty old homeless lady who secretly owned nineteen percent of the United States.

Silver Shamrock for sure. I also like OCP, and I like to pretend that the old man is Cochran.

Nice! He could have made that his whole career, late in his life, just playing the head of evil corporations.

Maybe someday they will make a new sequel to either Halloween 3 or Robocop, featuring some kind of deep fake AI Dan O'Herlihy. They must have enough footage of him to be able to cobble something together. I'm sure they could simulate his voice, too. They can basically do it already, and if there are any little things they have technological problems with, I'm sure they will resolve those problems very soon.... I was thinking about this because, in Halloween 3, his character doesn't exactly explode or die. He sort of shimmers away, he just disappears. They could say he was absorbed into the magical dimension of the Stonehenge rock, or something along those lines. He could still be alive in that other dimension, just waiting to be brought back for a sequel.

Sure, they could bring him back. But should they?

It probably depends on his family's say. They brought Peter Cushing back for Rogue One, which was pretty nifty, but it's not like it was actually him. Just a bunch of CGI.

I'd probably be more accepting of them using Dan's son, Gavin O'Herlihy as another Cochran. He played that asshole lead gang member in Death Wish 3.

Also, there was Ewing Oil, from Dallas, and Connex Oil from the movie Syriana. I liked that movie a lot.

There's also Apocalypse Inc, from Toxic Avenger 2 & 3. A very generic evil corportation that doesn't really produce anything other than toxic waste and whatnot. Not sure if it was named the same thing in Toxic Crusaders, but they were basically the same corporation.

Of course, there's Weyland/Yutani from Aliens. Often referred to as "The Company", and often viewing its crew as expendable. They could be an off-shoot of Tyrell or Wallace Corporations, since Ridley Scott insists that Alien is set in the same universe as Blade Runner. The movie Soldier, related to the Blade Runner series, probably has an evil company too...

DC has Lex Corp. Marvel has OsCorp.

While there's plenty of good recs here to converse about. I'm gonna go with The Tyrell Corp. More human than human...time to die.

I'd have to go with Silver Shamrock and Umbrella.
