Anyone here seen Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films yet? If not, you must! It's quite the excellent documentary on Cannon Films and Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus, the two men who ran it. Sure, a lot of what they distributed was considered trashy and their repuation in Hollywood was poor, but the doc makes apparent their love and passion for film and the industry as a whole. While Golan and Globus themselves aren't featured in it, a lot of people who worked with them are and they give a lot of insight into Cannon Films and how the bubble burst with them so to speak.

Not familiar with any of this, but did you watch the episode of It's Always Sunny last night, "Chardee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo"? emoticon

I loved this documentary. It was so much fun. It also made me want to watch some of the movies I haven't seen. And revisit the ones I had seen already.

And you can pick it up at Walmart for $5. That's where I got it.
