I used to work in a travel bookstore, and we always had Lonely Planet videos playing, about travel to various countries. We had one that had the lovely Justine Shapiro traveling to... um.... either Ecuador or Peru, possibly both. They showed people roasting guinea pigs. It was SO GROSS. I'm lucky I had a little warning the first time I saw that. I had pet guinea pigs when I was a little kid, eating them is really way over the line for me.

depends on the bug. I've eaten worms and crickets/grasshoppers (crickets are very good, taste just like shrimps which aint surprising)

I've had crickets... chocolate covered. Wasn't a fan but maybe it's cerebral.

I didn't go out and buy em...a buddy of mine was like taste these. Poured a couple of em in me hand and proceeded to pour em down me gullet. Then he told me what they were!
