9. Parasite
10. The Intouchables - Never heard of it.

TBH, IMO, The Conjuring 2 is the only film in that universe truly worth a fuck. I have The Nun 2 in my queue for days now... don't wanna watch it. The 1st 1sucked ass IMO, why bother with the sequel. I got Sisu in my queue also, gonna opt for that...it was on a lot of top 10 lists of the year.

The first Conjuring is the only movie I've seen in that franchise. I'm just not interested in paranormal movies or at least James Wan's idea of them. I've heard of Sisu, but I don't know much about it.

There was more gore in the 1st 40 min. of Sisu than all of the horror films that I saw that were released in '23. I'm gonna rewatch from the beginning tomorrow morning/afternoon pending when I wake up. John Wick 4 is a top 3 film for me but Sisu might be just as good or better considering I've only watched the 1st act.

The 3rd act of Sisu gets quite ridiculous but it's a fun, entertaining type of ridiculousness. This and John Wick 4 are the best action films of 2023. A top 5 film of the year IMO...lots of fun. Hollywood needs to take notes once again.

Fuck...I started watching Sisu knowing I'd havta pause it cause I had somewhere to go. If it's any indicator, I'm 40 minutes in and this movie kicks ass. Must see for any action fan. I can't wait to get back home and finish this.

Most of those superhero flicks are pretty good. Civil War, The Batman, and definitely Days of Future Past. The Revenant is also good, pretty fucked up too.

I'll post my list later.

Okay, here's my list of not-seen top imdb titles:

1.) The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
2.) WALL-E (2008)
3.) Up (2009)
4.) Catch Me If You Can (2002)
5.) Gone Girl (2014)
6.) Good Will Hunting (1997)
7.) The Hunger Games (2012)
8.) A Beautiful Mind (2001)
9.) Monsters, Inc. (2001)
10.) Parasite (2019)

Some boring looking movies, some Pixar garbage, and a few I just haven't gotten around to yet.

Plenty of worthy films in that top 10 IMO Zed...a lot of crap in that horror list IMO. Ballz list surprised me cause I'd figure he'd seen most of those....some good, some decent, some crap...such is life.

I haven't seen a superhero movie since Batman Begins, and I haven't seen a Star Wars movie since Attack of the Clones.

Titanic might be the biggest other one? I don't know, I actually haven't seen a lot of famous movies. The Goonies though is probably the one I have gotten the biggest reactions for having never seen it.

Gone With The Wind
The Sound Of Music
The Godfather trilogy
Star Trek
The Lion King
99% of the superhero/Fantasy/Marvel movies from the last 20-something years.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Whichever is the biggest James Bond movies.
Independence Day
Saving Private Ryan
The Sixth Sense
Scarface

I know I'm missing tons of shit...

Wow...the only one I haven't seen of yours is The Sound of Music and that's only because I just don't do musicals. I know you're more of an Indy, cult, underground film guy but there's some pretty great films on that list.

TBH, out of everybody's lists here, the only only films I haven't seen and some more than once are The Sound of Music and WALL-E. I'm a confessed cineaphile and I'll give almost anything a chance... I'll gong it when I figure it's just terrible or not for me.

Never watched Moonstruck (1987). I'm a Nick Cage fan so I don't know why? In honor of your post, gonna give it a go.

Edit: Nick Cage might be the greatest.

I'm embarrassed Zed...you should be shouting from the rooftops, if you haven't watched Gladiator by now, you should if only for Oliver Reed's final great performance. Joaquin Phoenix is pretty good as the villain to boot.
