Only 5 of us but congrats to Ballz for pretty much wiping the floor with everyone else. All I can say for myself is, thank goodness Zombie took part...

1. Ballz (2825)
2. Box (1820)
3. Troma (1695)
4. Markus (1115)
5. Zombie (146)

Anything you watched that you particularly enjoyed? I thought Netflix's Arcane was one of the best animated series I've ever seen.

I haven't even heard of Arcane. I spent most if not all my time on:

F is for Family - I enjoy this show. Yeah, it's a cartoon, but it doesn't have cartoon rules. It's grounded, it's dysfunctional, and it's funny.

Disenchantment - Moderately amusing, but it doesn't click with me like Futurama did. I like the genre direction they take with it, whereas Futurama is sci-fi and Disenchantment is fantasy. (I try to pretend Simpson's doesn't exist these days)

Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series - Since the plan was to return to live-action eventually, they didn't want to jump the shark with the cartoon physics, but they almost do it, using the animated medium as a way to pull off some crazy antics that wouldn't be feasible on their relatively no budget format. For example, Cory gets his arm cut off and re-attached at the end of the episode. This will probably never have a callback. And after the passing of the legendary Jim Lahey (self-proclaimed drunken trailer park supervisor), the cartoon offered the greatest way to write him off in a way John Dunsworth would have wanted: to get carried away by shit-hawks, only to have his ghost appear out of empty bottles of liquor and spout off previously unused sound bites. Only two seasons, then it was back to live-action.

All in all, it was fun. I don't imagine much challenge traffic until October, but that's creeping up on us. Some users only come around for that, but I'm down for any challenge because they give me something to look into. Too bad I wasn't looking too hard, but I hate trying to work on side projects while watching something I haven't seen before. Too hard to pay proper attention.

Trash Epics money point thingies will be rewarded shortly...

I also haven't heard of Arcane, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to most animated series.

Beast Wars was by far the highlight of the month for me. I remember catching a few episodes when I was younger and I liked it enough then, but I never expected to get hooked on a cartoon that mainly existed to help sell toys. I felt like the series lost some of its charm after the first season, but the last season introduced what ended up being one of my favorite characters and the ending was decent.

I enjoyed the hell out of some Mysterious Cities Of Gold. Anyone on here in the mood for some seriously epic shit should consider checking it out sometime. Somebody needs to take this source material and make a live action tv show like Game Of Thrones or something and put it on Netflix. Besides that and a small handful of movies, Elfen Lied made this chellenge a lot of fun. Probbaly the best new thing I've seen all year.
