I'll be sending out more newsletters in a few days. Hopefully we'll get some renewed interest. I wont even bother posting about this on facebook because all my friends on there are stupid bastards who only care about shitty memes and posting pictures of what they eat.

I'm in need of more FTV recs. All I have in mind thus far is Malignant and Halloween Kills.

There're a couple of new horrors coming to Netflix next month I believe. Have you seen the Fear Steet movies yet? Give them a watch if not.

I don't have netflix. I don't have hulu. I don't have a VPN either. All I have access to is prime and hbo, and their horror selection sucks. It's all up to tubi now...

Antrum: The Deadliest Film Ever Made is on Amazon Prime if you're interested. One of the best things to come out of the decade, imo. I'm curious as to how much you'd end up hating it. emoticon

Been meaning to check that one out ever since your review. Typically when I go on prime, they only show me a handful of titles and I haven't seen it in the list they show me, but if you say it's on there, I'll definitely give it a look this month.

I didn't hate it. It's rather good for the most part with some creepy bits. However, I find the documentary prologue and epilogue to be rather pointless, hyping it up a lot more than it deserves, which in turn makes the overall experience a bit underwhelming in retrospect. The movie can stand on its own, regardless of whether it's presented as a cursed lost film or a contemporary retro horror film. Also, the guy in his undies was dumb as hell.

I hear ya. I like the whole gimmick and not against there being some shit being shown before and after the movie, but I figure it could have been better, or somehow creepy in its own right, at least enough to do the movie justice.

Yes sure, any horror-themed animated movie would count.

I want to check something. The Creepshow Holiday Special has a run time of 46mins. Can this count towards the challenge?

No TV shows I'm afraid, even if they're stand alone stories or only related to the show in some way. Only movies can count.

Kiddie friendly Halloween themes - would 'The House with a Clock in its Walls' count?

I would think so. It was surprising to see a more family-friendly outing from Eli Roth. I'm wondering if Rob Zombie's Munsters will be family-friendly. I doubt they'd let him ruin that happy brand with something overtly grotesque.

Yes it certainly does count.

I didn't realise it was directed by Eli Roth. In that case I will be expecting Jack Black to wake up tied to a chair in a dungeon, somewhere in Slovakia.
