Pretty much the same I feel about the movie. The moments you see the creature (s) in the underground that gives a sense of dread even though you pretty much had to guess what it was all about. Scenes with Pleasance were slow and boring, not interesting IMO. Also the whole story of being trapped for so long and never been found I thought was too far fetched to be believable. Had it been real monsters ok but they were people. It's rather strange they forget how to act human and cannot pass that to their children. Also if they knew a way out they surely could have attemped to integrate in society again IMO.

I think Spider baby did a mch better job with this inbred lunatic family angle.

Haven't rated any. I prefer the 1-10 scale or 1-5 but allowing half points. A movie that just passed the test (2,5 or 5) a 2 is too low and 3 too high. Also all the movies that are worth a 7 or 9 to me.
But I have become less and less indulged in rating movies over the years. I always found that a hard thing to do. I rather say what I liked or disliked about it than replying "5/10" Callum style.

I can do with low traffic if the topics do interest me.
I dunno if imdb2 horror section has more traffic but the topics are the F13 theads we saw popping up so often on the old imdb. I can't bother with that any more. Besides I dunno if we really want to have that kind of people starting these hollow topics on here.

With a 10 points system or the possibily for half points I would surely do so.

Yes I think I'm more inclined to vote in this system too. Now a 4 is almost perfect but in 10 point system that would 'only' be 8/10. A movie I would rate 5/10 I can't rate 2 as that's too low and 3 would be too high. There is not enough in between with this system.
