Not sure how many people here watch Sons of Anarchy, but it very well be my favorite show ever. Due to that I was very sceptical of watching Mayans M.C. At first it was going to be a prequel, which I wasn't into, but turns out it is set years after SoA ended.

Despite all of my reservations I finally watch it and I have to say I was very pleased. I'm not sure if it is quite as great as SoA, but it far exceeded my expectations. It is gruesome at times. FX didn't hold back at all on this one. That ever kill children and show there dead bodies with plenty of detail. Just like SoA the main character has a love interest and despite her being kind of a strong woman type I think she is a great character. I don't want to give to much away since it is rather new, but if you liked SoA and haven't watched Mayans yet you have my word it is worth the watch.
