I haven't heard of it before but I will give it a go.

It was a great NES game series and had games for the Gameboy, GBA etc... great vampire hunting game. It's right up there with Fire Emblem

I noticed before when browsing Netflix there was a Castlevania show but didn't think much of it. Netflix is too overcrowded with stuff that either sucks, I know nothing about, I've already seen, or it doesn't contain the stuff I am aware of and would like to see. It's overwhelming as hell and frustrating that I'm probably missing out on something worthwhile. I can't even tell you how many times I go through Netflix for about a half hour and leave without watching anything due to indecisiveness and exhaustion.

Anyway, I loved the Castlevania games as a kid. Fond memories there.

You won't be disappointed in the show. And I know what you mean. With the Fox stuff gone it is a sea of obscure Netflix originals.

I'm not an anime fan either and I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it at all, but I thought it was really good. Looking forward to season two.

My only experience with the Castlevania games is the first one. I've never been able to get far in it without cheating, so I didn't bother with any of the sequels.
