1) Use IMDb Ratings, Scoring Chart:

1.0-1.9 = 5 points
2.0-2.9 = 4 points
3.0-3.9 = 3 points
4.0-4.4 = 2 points
4.5-4.9 = 1 point

2) First Time View = 1 additional point

3) Can be any genre

4) Trifecta Rule: Directors and Series
(e.g. watch 3 movies by David DeCoteau to get a 5 point Director Trifecta bonus; or watch 3 Puppet Master movies to get a 5 point Series Trifecta bonus)

5) A movie can only count towards one trifecta and all movies in the trifecta must be 4.9 or under.

6) Trifecta points accumulate
(e.g. watch 6 movies by David DeCoteau to get 7 point Double Trifecta bonus)

Single Trifecta - 5 points

Double Trifecta - 7 points

Triple Trifecta - 9 points

Etc.

7) Movies with 5.0 ratings or better donโ€™t count for any points or trifectas.

8) Movies must be at least 45 minutes long for full credit.

9) Substract 2 points for watching with the Rifftrax/MST3K commentary on. That's like putting ketchup on your turkey. C'mon!

10) Date Range:
Start - 12:01 AM on November 1.
End - You must start you last movie prior to November 30 11:59 PM.

NOTE: The Turkey Challenge has been long-hosted by creator Zombie CPA. For personal reasons, he is unable to host this year. Let's wish him well and honor him by watching a whole lot of trash.

Now, get gobblin'!

If you mean FTVs, I never watch many of those for this challenge, but Kingdom Of The Vampires (2007) was a fairly watchable remake of some random 90's sov that I always heard was awful, but wasn't THAT bad.

For some reason, my favorite turkey is always Woodchipper Massacre, with Zombie Rampage as a close second. Followed by necessary viewing such as Cannibal Campout, Cannibal Hookers, Demon Queen, Feeders 1 & 2, and of course, Blood Freak on Thanksgiving.

So, despite doing the TC for 10 years or so now, I still haven't seen one Polonia movie. Not one. We're thinking Sharkenstein might be the first.

That's surprising considering you're one of the turkey masters. Those little weirdos are fun. I saw Sharkenstein a couple years ago, but don't remmeber it. Anything from the last 15 years isn't a great example of their/Mark's work, or at least why they have a fanbase to begin with. If someone asked me where to begin in Poloniaville, I'd have to recommend Splatter Farm first, although if you're not into an sov less professional than Blood Lake, understandable. But that's the Poloniest on, I think. If you're mostly looking for newer ones, Mark Polonia is also responsible for the only decent Camp Blood Sequels. That's about all I have use for from the last decade.

Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda is the best so far by default. The Barbie & Kendra are awful. Charles Band takes old movies and dubs them into a 2020 story. Barbie & Kendra are MSF2K type characters. The Polonia movie had only one shark attack.

Man, what happened to Charles Band? At least he still puts out a Killjoy movie every now and then. Those are reasonably fun.

Too much competition in the DTV market. Their movies are not generating the revenue they once did; therefore, their movie budgets have been severely cut.

So drawn out. Give away the good scenes, why don't you? This is arguably worse than the actual movie. I love it.

As always, a very enjoyable Turkey challenge for me. Got in all the desired FTVs, including Night Of Horror and The Chooper, but was also able to find some pretty watchable FTVs thanks to the Prime and the Tubi. High points included Llamageddon (2015), Puma Man (1980), Bruce Li In New Guinea (1978), Return To Splatter Farm, and another surprisingly decent Polonia called Bride Of The Werewolf (2019).

Also enjoyable, but to a lesser extent: Shark Exorcist(2015) & Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre (2015). Would have been very disappointed if that one turned out to suck.

Could have done without Land Shark (2017), Bigfoot Vs. Zombies (2016), Battle Bots (2018) and Jurassic Prey (2015). All Polonias. A very hit or miss filmography for the little weirdo gipper twins.

I learned that Sorority House Massacre II actually isn't THAT much more interesting or entertaining than the first one as I originally thought it was.

Thanks for keeping the tradition alive!
