I tried to watch Land Shark yesterday but it was already pulled from the digital sea. I watched Jeepers Creepers 3 instead - betting that the 5.2 rating will go lower this month!

So my first actual Turkey was another Polonia - Amityville Exorcism - courtesy of the Public Library where I proudly work!

Land Shark and a couple other Polonias are free if you have Amazon Prime.

Best incentive I've ever heard. who knew there were so many polonia bologna fans!

Looking through your list must say I really liked "The Atomic Brain" when I saw it earlier this year. Maniac is such a 'wrong' movie but I find it such an enjoyable one. Not sure if I want to go through Yucca flats again but Manos is one I like to revisit. My only planned revisit is Tormented (1960), I really love that film. Might give Child Bride (1938) and The Screaming Skull (1958) another go too. I have all 3 on DVD.
There is also Screaming Skull (1973) a remake having the same poster as the 1958 version on imdb.

I read Growing Up with Manos last week. It's a very informative memoir from the little girl who played Debbie in Manos so I knew I would be revisiting it once again. I watched the "restored" version on BLU and you can definitely see more in almost every frame with the clean-up they did. I'm not sure it really benefits the movie as i enjoy the murkiness of the version I'm used to. I love the music in Manos, particularly the two songs and find myself humming them for hours, even days afterwards. I've seen it about 15 times now and it still doesn't get old. I feel that way about Yucca flats, Blood Freak and Killer shrews too.

Is Tormented the Bert I. Gordon film? It seems a bit out of place in his filmography to me since most of the others focus on giant creatures of one sort or another. That's why they call him Mr. B.I.G.

Yes the Tormented from Mr. BIG is the one I'm talking about :)
It's totally different from Manos but Tormented has the director's daughter Susan in one of the leading roles (she must have been 8 years or so) that is where the similarities between the movies proly end., Her performance is actually I like most next to the special effects of the haunting scenes.
Killer Shrews funny you mention it I saw Deadly Eyes (1982) which is about killer rats. I have to say Shrews was way more entertaining even if it has less creature action than Deadly Eyes.

I'm glad you enjoyed Attack of the Beast Creatures and Green Slime - those are both a lot of fun. I may have seen Humongous back in the 80s on cable - I should check that out again. I'll post my favorites once the feathers have stopped flying. I am enjoying this challenge a lot. I waited long enough to rewatch the Polonias that they are a lot of fun again and almost everything else has been a FTV for me. I've got more lined up than I will possibly be able to see but ICM is having a turkey challenge of sorts in January so that will take care of the leftovers.

I just watched a Decoteau this weekend! Didn't do it on purpose but I couldn't resist a film called Grizzly Rage. It was one of his better films although seriously undermined by some last act lapses in logic - like an overturned jeep suddenly being upright again. I wouldn't complain but the jeep was a major character and actually featured in many scenes.

I need to update my weekend watches - they should put me way over the top.

Thanks for hosting this here, Zomb. I've enjoyed taking the turkey challenge once again! I even enjoyed dipping back into the Polonias since I hadn't done that for several years. Having it be open to all genres was a big plus too as it allowed me to watch the Sidaris films I had been letting gather dust. Almost all of them have scenes filmed in Dallas, BTW. They become more and more over-the-top as they progress - until they are like slapstick cartoons with big boobs a bouncing!

I enjoyed watching Grizzly Rage a couple years ago. It is funny watching the bear kick everyone's ass. I have a Decoteau trifecta of softcore porn trash this year.
