Unless anyone has better ideas. I donโ€™t. If you do, please post them here.

1) Still use IMDb ratings.

1.0 = 6 points.
1.1-1.9 = 5 points.
2.0-2.9 = 4 points.
3.0-3.9 = 3 points.
4.0-4.4 = 2 points.
4.5-4.9 = 1 point.

2) First time view = 1 point.

3) Horror at least 33% of total. removed

4) Trifectas. Yes. Director and series. For director you can bunch siblings and parent / children or grandparent / grandchildren.

At least one movie in each trifecta must be horror. removed

A movie can only count towards one trifecta.

Single Trifecta - 5 points

Double Trifecta - 7 points

Triple Trifecta - 9 points

Etc.

5) New - 2 bonus points for Thanksgiving theme, turkeys, Pilgrim hat, or Pilgrims in movie. Only one 2 point bonus per movie.

6) Movies with 5.0 ratings or better donโ€™t count for any points.

7) Must be at least 45 minutes long.

Horror at least 33% of total.

I'm all for holding up traditions, but any chance we can forget about this rule? I'm sure most of us will end up watching mostly Horror, anyway, but since this isn't really a Horror site, was wondering if we could just watch whatever as long as it's 4.9 or lower.

Exploring Kings Of Horror Youtube channel... I love how the films of Ted V. Mikels are every bit as uninteresting in 2000 as they were in 1970.
