I went for both Deathly Hallows films and honestly wish I had done the same for the previous ones. Practically everyone attending was a die-hard Potter fan and sooo many of them dressed up for it w/ Hogwarts student costumes from all the different houses... there were even a few ppl dressed as the Death Eaters. :D
Great fun.. plus it was nice being able to chat with ppl that actually read the books as well. (As much as i enjoy most of the Potter films, I've always preferred the books..)

I think dressing up (cosplay) is cool and I love fantasy but the Harry Potter world is kinda lame to me. I have been visiting FACTS a few times and that was nice seeing people dressed up as comic/anime/videogame/movie character. It's pretty versatile even though there is much focus on Star Wars too but still not so superficial as HP, of course that's just grumpy old me who doesn't like fantasy world in modern settings too much.

Well you can take a look here it's indeed a comic con:

It's in Gent and there are people from other countries visiting mostly from Holland. Taking the train to the festival is fun as you can see already people on there dressed up.

There is always some celebrities you can see, sign sessions and such. I remember when I went last time two of the guest stars were actors playing Murdoch and Face from the original A-Team. I have been there twice when it was once a year. Now it's twice a year in spring and in autumn. Maybe I'll go again this year in autumn if someone wants to go along.
