My record would be five. Certainly for me - five or more in a single day would be the absolute most I could manage. I would tend to get 'burnt out' after five.

What is your record?

After how many would you start to become fatigued?

I think I did 12 in one day during the Turkey Challenge. One of the movies I watched on my iPhone while taking a walk on some dirt trails.

@zombie is a turkey champ. No way I could watch 12 movies in a day. Good or bad, I have my limits.

Mine is probably about 5 as well, on at least a few occasions. I tend not to binge a franchise in one day, but I recall watching about 5 Rocky movies in one day.

Most low budget, bad movies are only about 70 minutes long.

3 I'm pretty sure, and that was in my younger years. I doubt I could do that nowadays.

During last year's October Challenge, I managed to watch six in one day. emoticon I've watched five more than once, but even that's rare. It's difficult to find the time or energy to watch that many.

I start feeling fatigued after three or four. Sometimes less these days.

I think the most Iโ€™ve ever watched is with you. I have no idea how many Iโ€™ve seen since weโ€™ve been together. I canโ€™t imagine 200 in a month!

That was the year I used my controversial tactic to win.

I think the most Iโ€™ve ever done at home is 4, lmao. I get really burnt out easy. At the theater though Iโ€™ve watched about 5 bc the movies I wanted to see were about to leave lol.

I think Iโ€™ve done 10 in a day. I loved the days where I could just sit and relax and watch movies. I cannot do that anymore. Now I get burned out after about 5!

I think about six. Nowadays two is usually my limit, and even that can be a struggle, even if I have nothing to do all day long.

At a cinema, six. At home, seven I think. Cinema has traditionally been tiring because it tends to be all nighters. Last I did was five Dario Argento films, preceded by Mandy at a different place. Wad flagging during Deep Red, had to rely on the score to keep following it. That was the fourth film of the night, between 4 and 6AM. Without regular tiredness and with decent but not over taxing films I can do five happily, six at a push. Seven is mostly just for when I'm being a bid lump, or have some perverse sense of a mission.

During one of the challenges on another site I went a little overkill and (when I had the time) was plowing through an average of ten new films per day. Would NEVER do that again.

Doing that for the entire of October definitely caused me to burn out though and I stopped watching horror altogether for four months solid.

On average, mostly evening/night I'll watch maybe 3, no more than.

I bet I have watched nine or ten in a single day before, but it probably shouldn't exactly count because I probably would have watched one or two of them twice, instead of nine or ten distinct movies I had never seen before. Like, maybe if I was home sick, or mindlessly cleaning my apartment, I might just have the TV on constantly, playing a constant stream of demented beheadings, chainsaw attacks, zombie aliens, yadda yadda yadda. If my intent was to stay just distracted enough to enjoy myself, and yet be able to slightly focus on tasks like cleaning up in my apartment, then I might choose to watch and rewatch some movies repeatedly, just so I wouldn't have to pay close attention.
