Okay, I know the 1990's are not particularly looked upon with great fondness by most horror fans, but personally, while not the best, I feel it was an underated decade.

@jimb14red posted an informative thread about his views on the decade a while back.

"90's Horror: An underrated decade" - https://trashepics.com/post/102/4/

My Top 10 would look like this: (a word to the wise - a lot of obscure stuff here and may not be to everyones taste)

1. The Addiction (1995)
2. I Zombie: The Chronicles of Pain (1998)
3. Intensity (1997 TV Movie)
4. Buried Alive (1990 TV Movie)
5. Dead Leaves (1998)
6. The Haunted (1991 TV Movie)
7. Aswang (1994)
8. Blood & Donuts (1995)
9. The Possession of Michael D. (1995 TV Movie)
10. Dead Alive (1992)

What makes your list?

When you guys both mentioned Addiction (1995), I thought you might have meant Habit, also 1995. Habit was directed by Larry Fessenden, who also had the lead role. I'm a pretty big fan of Habit, and it's set mostly in NYC. I don't know if I'd put it in my top ten for the whole decade, but... hmmmmmmmmm.... anyway, I think there might be a scene or two where they go to some small town, for the main character's father's funeral...? Not sure. But it's definitely mostly in NYC, and it's a pretty solid movie!

Someone needs to mention Night of the Demons 2, on this thread. I mean, come on. That's the one with the ninja nun. Also, Habit (1995), directed by Larry Fessenden.
