Only a handful of films really and truly haunt me for a number of days afterwards. The Ninth Configuration is one such film that really effected me, I can't explain it fully, it is one thought-provoking film, that is for sure, but yet funny in places with endlessly quotable dialogue. The first half of the film has more of a comedic tone. The "Orbit after orbit" scene is one of another of my favourite scenes ever, the monologue is so poignant. In the second half, the film becomes darker and philosophical. It is one film that has stayed with me.
