I know, what a specific topic. Figured it'd be a good way to get people talking more and getting a better glimpse into what we're all really like.

Good thing: Gave away like 75% of my wardrobe to Goodwill last week. Just felt like someone may have needed it more than me. I've only got around 5 t-shirts left in my closet now, but whatever. I pretty much wear the same clothes over and over again anyway.

Shitty thing: My girlfriend and I have been fighting a lot lately and I said some awful things yesterday. I think I'm a pretty nice guy, but when you push my buttons I get vicious. I need to work on that. Feeling guilty today.

Damn it! Now I know why she seemed so frisky leaving the store.

Thanks, Box.

I'd like to think I try to make a conscious effort to do good things for others. We all know how hard life can be and we all get wrapped up in ourselves, our responsibilities, our jobs, bills, stress. We become moody, tired, jaded. Everyone's got a chip on their shoulder, seemingly. People are often nasty and rude to others for no good reason and I witness it often. It makes me mad.

So I myself try to be different. I try to think about the girl at McDonald's whose probably been bitched out all day, and when my food is taking a bit longer than usual, and she apologizes, I'll say something to the effect of: "it's no big deal, I'm not in a rush." Just kind words like that can make a person feel just a tiny bit better about themselves. That's a good thing and it didn't really take much effort.

Here's a funny one which was a good or shitty thing depending on how you look at it. A few days ago I witness a car run a stop sign. Like literally didn't even attempt to stop. It pissed me off, so I had the bright idea to get next to that person and let them know what they'd done, and that i got their plate number and called the cops (hehe). Well, when I pulled up next to them, the girl was kinda young, and was genuinely shocked and apologetic about running said stop sign. She claims she never saw it. I felt bad at that point for fucking with her and chose not to tell her about the calling the cops part (which I didn't do anyway.) Even though I started out as an antagonistic dick, it ended up being a good thing because now maybe I made her more aware of stop signs in the future, and may be help save hers or someone else's life.

It's a good day so long as you don't find the cops knocking on your door....

So what mundane, average, fair-to-middling things do you guys do? Lol

No one here is a fucking asshole who's done some real piece of shit thing lately? I don't believe that for a second!
