With the challenge I figure people maybe are buying more lately. I sure have, after some time of not buying much. Lots of good stuff has come out on Blu ray recently, and more is on the way in November from what I've heard.

One Dark Night (Blu ray)
Terror Train (Blu ray)
Anthropophagus (Blu ray)
House on Sorority Row (Blu ray)
Byleth (Blu ray)
And Now the Screaming Starts (Blu ray)
Switchblade Sisters (Blu ray)
Crimes of the Black Cat (Blu ray)
Puzzle (Blu ray)
Someone is Watching Me (Blu ray)
The Evil (Blu ray)
Forgotten Gialli Vol. 2 (Blu ray, 3 films)
Open House (DVD)
Cockfight (DVD)
Living in Peril (DVD)

I might start buying things when I get a damn job, but I notice a lot of what you listed is free on Tubi and/or Roku. It's strange how common some of these once obscure titles are now.

I don't know what those things are but some might be on YouTube as well. But since free usually translates to piracy or illegal, I'd rather buy physical copies. Quality on those kinds of sites probably isn't always great (it usually isn't great on YouTube) and I seriously don't need any more run-ins with law enforcement. But yes, a lot of things once considered rare are suddenly getting released. Open House has not yet had a DVD or Blu ray release and the one I got is an obvious bootleg, but I do already have a factory-made VHS so that one might not land me in as much trouble if anyone were to find out.

Haha, get with the times yakko. Tubi and Roku are free streaming services. TVs are made to support them now. Perfectly legal because they have ads, and they often stream in high-def. You don't even need an account to use Tubi, so give that one a look. At least half of what you listed is available on there. Tubi's selection is bigger than Netflix and Hulu and not so bloated with Hollywood garbage. They have a lot of the great titles I refer to as having once been obscure.

I checked out Tubi and you're right, it has a huge horror selection. Lots of newer stuff and not so much older (at least that I saw) but plenty that looked interesting. Some of the older classics are there, but not so much of the 80s stuff. I watched Terror Birds and it did indeed look like hi definition. Amazing that you can use it without an account. It seems everything everywhere these days makes you have an account and submit personal information. Ads are a bit annoying but that's a small trade-off for it being free and not having to have an account. I'm betting a lot of the stuff on there is obscure, even the newer stuff. Treehouse and Shrooms are on there, and I wouldn't even imagine anyone bothering with those. They are probably considered obscure.

I've seen Shrooms! I don't remember it, but I remember watching it!

I've considered making an account on Tubi just because it'll keep track of what you watch in case you have to close out and want to jump right back in later without fastforwarding through a bunch of ads, but at the same time, I'm too lazy even for that.

Roku requires an account, but it's still free. They sometimes share the same titles as Tubi, but it's also got some different stuff on there.

When it comes to browsing streaming services like Tubi or Roku, there's a site I recently discovered called https://justwatch.com/ that makes it a bit faster. Search for stuff on there and it'll tell you if it's on Tubi or wherever else.
