Does anyone know if there is a way to tell when the second showing of Stranger in Our House was? This was the made for TV witch movie with Linda Blair and directed by Wes Craven. It premiered on October 31, 1978 (same night as Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell on a different network). I didn't see it then, but it was rerun some time later, I think probably in the summer or fall of '79. That's when I saw it. I'm trying to determine the exact date because it was the same day as soemthing else that happened to me that I'm including in a written work.

Good luck with that. I feel like it would be a lot of work to dig up a tv guide from that era, but it might be possible. Sounds like a cool movie though. As a fan of Wes, I'm surprised I never heard of it.

Is yakko writing an autobiography?!

More or less. Nothing I'd ever publish though. It was a pretty decent made for TV horror movie. I forgot to mention it was retitled Summer of Fear for the rerun, and I think that was the title of the book it was based on.

According to that site, it was rerun on June 20, 1979.

Great! That's petty close to when I thought it had to be. Thanks.

How did you look up that specific movie on the site? There's a few others I'd like to look up.

I didn't look it up on the site. I searched "stranger in our house nbc 1979" on Bing and it was one of the first results. You might be able to find the other movies you're looking for that way. Maybe "ultimate70s" and the movie's title.

I have always thought Lee Purcell was quite the babe in that. Also, (forgive me) Fran Drescher was pretty hot in it, too.

Fran Drescher was also pretty hot in another movie from a year or two later, Hollywood Knights. Lee Purcell isn't quite my type, but I did like this movie.
