What did you think of Hereditary?

Boring. I went in knowing very little about it, and the title turned out to be pretty misleading. I figured it was going to something dealing with geneology or some kind of tainted bloodline, but it just turned out to yet another satanic cult/demonic possession movie. Nothing original at all. And it had a lot of the things that annoy the crap out of me in modern movies - mainly the annoying soundtrack done entirely on cheap synthesizers and zero character development. Casting was bad too, especially in the case of the son who looked nothing like either parent.

Not watching much in the way of movies lately. Just The Unnamable (1988) and The Dark Crystal (1982) this week. Mostly been watching Walking Dead and Dark Shadows episodes.
