I haven't much time this past week but should be getting Liquid Sky and The Psychopath in the next few days.

I have the Blu-ray of Red Ring of Fear and hopefully will get to it tomorrow night. I have seen the movie but it was a poor and probably cut release under the title Virgin Terror.

Did you order direct from Vinegar Syndrome's site?

I was going to order Blood Hook, but I dicked around and the version with the kick ass slipcover is sold out before it even streeted.

So, now, fuck it. I plan on getting a couple discs during their end of May sale.

Today I rented from the library
A Long Way Down (2014)

From Family Video
Kidnap (2017)
Lady Bird (2017)

No. I probably should've. And I probably should've pre-ordered Blood Hook. I saw it on YouTube a few years ago and thought it wasn't too bad. I was surprised when I saw a Blu-ray release was happening and should've pre-ordered it right then. Like with Liquid Sky, I never would've imagined this movie would get a high quality release. I didn't even think very many people even knew about either film.

That kind of makes me think a Blu-ray release of The Meateater or Rana: The Legend of Shadow Lake could actually happen.

Bought
Friday the 13th: The Ultimate Collection (Paramount): It's only $25 despite being Blu-ray and a massive upgrade from my 2004 set. I couldn't resist.

The Breakfast Club (Criterion): Another upgrade.

Haven't watched any movies lately.

I didn't know The Breakfast Club had gotten a Criterion release. That might be worth investing in. I saw that movie back when I was in college and remember liking it a lot.

And yes, $25 for the whole Friday the 13th collection on Blu-ray is a really good price. Is it going to be a good 3D version of Part 3?

Can't speak of the quality of what's included on the Friday the 13th set because I have to send it back. Arrived today with a heavily damaged case. emoticon

Looking forward to diving into The Breakfast Club though. Not seen it in a while either. It includes Criterion's usual mountain of extras. Particularly interested in the documentary.

The Butterfly Room was one I looked for a long time. With a cast of big names in the horror genre and a plot involving butterflies I probably expected more than I should've. When I finally saw it, I wasn't blown away. I'd say 5/10 is about right. I'll probably watch it again (as I always do with movies I don't really like the first time around) and see if my opinion changes. In a few cases, it has.

I might actually have to check that one out again to form a real opinion, myself.
