I haven't had time to do this for quite a while and didn't buy much until the last few weeks.

Bought:

The Church
The Sect
Scalpel
The Legend of Spider Forest

Rented:

My Cousin Rachel
Don't Knock Twice

I've also pre-ordered Red Rings of Fear.

I haven't watched much of anything this month. I did enjoy The Strangers 2 and Thoroughbreds, but that was a few weeks ago.

I should check out The Church sometime, as I've heard about it for years.

Watched
Lucky (2017): A fine film to cap off the life and career of Harry Dean Stanton. Not a complicated movie, it follows the daily life of an eccentric old guy in a small town.

Hard Times (1975): Walter Hill's first movie, featuring Charles Bronson kicking ass in 1930s New Orleans.

The Long Riders (1980): Another Walter Hill, a western centered around Jesse James and his gang. Several real-life siblings play siblings in the movie, such as the Carradines and the Quaids.

Southern Comfort (1981): Walter Hill again, with National Guardsmen vs. pissed off Cajuns.

The 'Burbs (1989): This was the workprint version and probably the best workprint I've ever watched. Decent video quality and the score consisted of placeholder music (lots of westerns I think and a little Psycho too). Most workprints I've seen are grainy, blurry VHS rips with no music.

The 'Burbs (1989) (Shout Factory)
