Since your last thread, I've watched:

Sinister (2012) - A seemingly decent supernatural thriller that just sort of falls apart at the end. There's a good amount of buildup, but it goes in a predictable direction that didn't seem very imaginative, and rather rushed.

The Darkness (2016) - Kevin Bacon supernatural thriller about bringing indian burial ground spirits back home with you, but it wasn't very effective. PG-13 crap, really. Plus, the autistic kid really annoyed me. I know autistic kids are naturally annoying, and I shouldn't be annoyed by that, but fuck it. This movie was mediocre.

The Babysitter (2017) - Super fun netflix original where I don't want to spoil much, but it's a pretty insane ride. A real pleasant surprise.

The Skeleton Key (2005) - I'd read good things about this one on here, but I found it rather lackluster, and mostly uneventful. The setting was wonderful, and Kate Hudson is always cute, but it didn't do much for me. By the time it got to the (previously mentioned) "Get Out" -esque ending, I really didn't care enough.

Happy Death Day (2017) - Despite being PG-13, this movie was really fun. Anyone who's seen "Groundhog Day" can pick the movie apart, beat by beat, but it doesn't mean it doesn't translate well into the slasher genre. I quite enjoyed it.

Better Watch Out (2016) - Christmas home invasion, and it's all about the twists. Plenty of fun, and puts you through a lot of emotions. Anger, relief, wtf?, etc.

1922 (2017) - Tom Jane steals the show to turn an otherwise adequate story into something more memorable. Oh, what a conniving man he is!

The Ladykillers is now my #2 comedy of all time, just behind Caddyshack. I'm going to rate it a 9. How J.K. Simmons wasn't at least nominated for his role as Garth Pancake is beyond me. "..the biggest challenge of IBS is educating the public"

I like PP&Z. Surely the only adaptation of Austen's literary classic I will ever care to watch.

Lycia Naff was so damn tiny and cute as T.C. Don Calfa's portrayal of Willum can't be emphasized enough, of how much it adds to this flick. His expressions and stuff. He makes Everthing he is in better, much like Burgess Meredith. And Ed Gale, the dwarf that plays Bob, was Howard the Duck.

Pom Pom Girls was a nice surprise. Jennifer Ashley (Laurie) is a natural beauty and talent. Robert Carradine is good as an ugly but carefree, fun loving crazy dude.
And the way highschool life was shown..I really wish I was born about 14/15 years earlier. Oh and it was also neat seeing lockers on the outside wall of the school building, yet under shelter of carport-like canopy.

It's almost as feel good of a movie as Van Nuys Blvd. Crown International Pictures put out some great stuff back then.
