I happen to love Seth Rogen and James Franco. However, I agree that the film was probably a terrible idea in the first place.

If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about... North Korea threatened to bomb movie theaters in USA if "The Interview" got a theatrical release. The theatrical release has been canceled, as well as VOD and DVD releases.

I work at a movie theater, so I'm glad I wont get bombed... but I wish I could've seen the movie still. And I hope they don't bomb us when some asshole decides to leak the film anyway...

Thoughts about this whole mess?

Some theater is showing Team America World Police instead which I think is kind of funny. But better safe than sorry I say. So canceling the movie IMO is the best thing. Still find it funny that they got so offended over The Interview, but I don't think anything was said about Team America. In all honesty I do like some Seth Rogan films. I didn't care too much for Neighbors, but did like This is the End. So they are sometimes hit and misses with me, but usually they are funny. In the long run I don't think I will be too upset not getting to see The Interview. Green Inferno on the other hand is one I hope gets released soon in some form.

The film is about the attempted assassination of North Korea's leader, and he took big offense that. So Korea hacked Sony, gave out a bunch of Sony's employees personal info, and threatened to destroy several US theaters if the movie got released. It's fucked.

So after all the hype of not releasing The Interview in theaters... they released it for home viewing, via youtube and torrents. (Huh?!)

I watched it on Christmas day, as originally intended. While it was pretty funny... I'm glad we didn't get blown up over it... YET!

If North Korea is really retarded enough to (attempt to) bomb a theater, they deserve what comes next.
