I think TE is the place to to for horror/scifi and cult classic. Been thinking about writing 'trashepics.com'on both sides of any cash bills.

I'm on some FB group. It's just ok despite a lot of familiar faces from the present and past being there. I'd be surprised if there was an alternative out there as good as this one. We could really use someone to promote this place who won't lose interest every other goddamn day. Just sayin'.

Now that I've gotten the hang of TE, I like posting on here, when I originally joined I thought it was confusing, I just didn't give it enough of a chance, it's not where as confusing as I originaly though it was.

Other than here I'm on the aforementioned Horror Board site and also iCM. The ICM forum seems huge and unwieldy to me for some reason, but lots of knowledgeable people are there.
This place is the best so far imho.

It's similar to Film general on IMDB but without all the trolls of course. Lots of film nerds and not as much horror discussion, but the challenges look the bomb.

I did see that Johan (imdb reg) & Victoryismineblast is over there, I don't know who Johan & Victory is and maybe they are here.

I was looking on Zed's site yesterday. Nothing really going on except in the shoutbox, where Victory, Johan and a couple Dorian socks sit there all day, bad mouthing me, Onyx and this site. Not sure why. Guess that's just how boring it is there. Anyone from here who shows up seems to get pressured to leave TE. There's a few nice people from here and the old board on there who don't even seem to post much, but mostly, I just see the worst that board had to offer.

only other one i'm on is the horror board. there's a few ex-imdb regs over there and we mention joining TE in the shoutbox from time to time, tho i get the impression one or two over there are not welcome here.

trying to recruit non internet buddies aswell, my mate Matt said TE sounded cool n that he'd join, but guess i'll have to pressure him a bit more...

Just realised the inclusion of Music, Books n Art threads could help recruitment. I have a few friends who aren't really into horror movies, but might join to chat metal or comics or whatever.
