Chris Morris is a genius. He was mostly active in the 90s and way ahead of the time satire wise, also notorious botherer of the stuffed up TV censors over here. That ep got a record number of complaints & was banned for awhile. He'd had previously got sacked from BBC radio for a live broadcast that mocked the death of princess Diana. The BBC being monarch friendly n'all Morris didn't bother asking permission which he knew he wouldn't get, i like his style.

Brass Eye is mostly UK centric piss take of the news shows of the late 90s, a lot of the social references will be dated and little known to US people, but i'd recommend you check out Jam - a dark surreal sketch show best viewd late with booze and/or other mind altering substances.

Znep's right, english english has many unnecessary letters in words, usually vowels (like Phoenix?! nah.) sometimes silent letters, as in Pfox. i prefer US english, simpler to grasp, apart from the fanny and fag mix up, which once got me badly beaten in Boston.
