Mine is a 50 something, anything smaller it's hardly worth 4K because you will barely notice the difference between that and standard Blu-ray. I don't own any 4K discs but if UHD is an option for streaming something, I'll make use of it. T2 deserves maximum quality for sure.

got a 43" 4k one. cheapest no name one from china, I havent watched anything on it for months, last time was maybe during the rugby worldcup 8 months ago when I tried to find if they were showing it on a channel (they weren't)
But the daughter uses it for youtube

Welp... I went and done it. I bought a 55 inch 4k and a 4k blu-ray player. Any bigger and it wouldn't have fit in the car nor on my tv stand.

I was browsing 4K blu discs, and the pricing isn't great. It's basically what new dvds used to cost back in the day, $20+. I was fortunate enough to order a cheap 4K disc of T2 though. Essentially, I spent hundreds of dollars to watch T2 in max quality.

It's not even max quality, really. I don't have surround sound, or even a soundbar. My house has thin walls and too many bodies in it for me to enjoy a good surround. I might cave and get a 2.0 soundbar if that seems more adequate.

A decent soundbar is not too expensive. Worth the further investment.

If you're gonna commit, I say go all the way. I still only have a 36 inch? and a BR player. Enjoy!
