The camp was said to be closed down for 20 years, which would suggest 1989 which would work in accordance to the timeline, as 1988 was the last time the camp was seen active. The secondary prologue takes place in February likely days before Friday the 13th as the rest of the film occurs 6 weeks after these events, assuming the rest of the story occurs on Friday, March 13th. Backtracking 6 weeks from this date makes it around January 30th. This is clearly the result of bad writing and should be ignored, or altered from 6 weeks to 4 weeks.
