Anyone else love this movie?

I particularly like the take on Count Dracula here. In many movies vampires are depicted as glamorous. Whilst here he is depicted as quite a pathetic creature.

The rat scene where they are eating a meal at a table in the middle of the street is quite striking to me.

Isabelle Adjani as well, what a beautiful and stunning actress.

Never saw this one yet, which is strange. I need to get on that, mostly because I don't think I've seen a Werner Herzog film yet. None that he's directed really, but I love him as an actor.

I've been meaning to see this, but never get around to it. It does look like a different take from the seductive, handsome vampire we've seen in stories like Dracula.

What I remember more about this movie than anything are the locations. They're beautiful and fit the story perfectly. Hard to imagine another Dracula movie ever topping it in that area.

Here emoticon still think this is one of the best contemporary updates of the original. Gorgeous cinematography, stunning score and Kinski just has that perfect creepy Nosferatu look. Always had a soft spot for this one.
