After my widsom tooth is removed, I decided to see a horror movie about teeth called The Dentist (1996). I think it's a lot fun and excellent extremely underrated horror film of the 1990s. It's scary, gory as hell that makes you never want to go to the dentist again. It was based on the story about the real-life serial killer dentist, Glennon Engleman (1928-'99). But all other than all this, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. I enjoyed it very much and loved! I still have to check out Part 2.

I thought this was a pretty fun movie, and it had some disturbing dental hijinx, courtesy of special fx guy Brian Yuzna. Cranking a man's jaw open and drilling people's teeth to shreds is pretty cringe-worthy.

Brian Yuzna is the director. Not sure who did the fx. A bunch of people according to IMDb.

Cool movie.

I mean that as a former FX guy, he'd still know his shit.

Fun all the way with cartoon Corbin chomping away at the scenery for all he's worth. Innovative deaths with great practical effects, fairly original setting & kids in peril, what more dya want? Way more entertaining than Yuzna's higher praised Society, which ending aside is a bit dull for me.

I will probably never watch this film due to my undying tooth-trauma phobia... emoticon

I forgot to put for a little warning. If you have a dentist phobia, just DON'T watch it emoticon.

The only thing that would freak me out more than hearing a chainsaw revving in a scary house is a dentists drill.

Is that where it cuts a teeth? If so, I'm not afraid of it, especially only with anesthesia. He almost cut half of my wisdom teeth, and it sounded way creepier than it is painful (not really that really painful).

Well as the poster says, from the creators of Re-Animator which I like a lot, was the reason I gave this one a shot last year. While far from as good as Re-Animator it was still pretty enjoyable.
