You've seriously not seen a film prior to 1993 that does not get a 10 and the best film ever is from 2016?

Many of those that you probably have in mind i have rated with 8 or 9, it's just that to give a 10 i seek absolute perfection from my PoV. However for my top 1 and 2 films i am slightly biased because thriller is actually my favorite genre and when it's done right i am having the time of my life watching those.

Oh, it's a must see. It's the sister film of Night of Something Strange, which for some reason has been more widely seen. I like NOSS, but I love She Kills. It's a true trash epic.

I don't know why it's 34 fuckin' dollars on Amazon, but I bought it, anyway.

Glad to hear you approve! Not many horror movies on my list, but most "acclaimed" ones like The Exorcist, Halloween, TCM, The Thing and The Shining, etc. are 8-9s for me..

Yeah, I would be the same too. I actually don't give out many 10s, if I am honest., all high 9s for the classics, for the most part.

I'm pretty generous with my max-ratings, so that list can go on all day. There are plenty of movies I've rated 10s because they're basically perfect in what they set out to do. A movie like Killer Klowns from Outer Space a 10/10 for being the best(only?) space-clown movie ever. Creepshow is a 10/10 for being the coolest fucking anthology ever. Deathbed: The Bed that Eats is the best nightmarish murderer-bed movie ever, etc... There are a lot of movies that are perfect and/or 10/10s.
